Dec.1955 Zeria Yakusho Kenkyusho Co., Ltd. is established in Tokyo (capital: ¥3 million).
Dec.1964 Launches Chondroitin ZS Tablets, a remedy for arthralgia and lumbalgia.
Aug.1967 Launches Hi Jelly B, a nutrient tonic.
May 1969 Launches Marzulene-S Granules, an anti-inflammatory anti-ulcerant.
May 1970 Changes name to Zeria Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
Apr.1975 Saitama Plant starts operations.
Jan.1978 Launches Hi Jelly Powder, a royal jelly-containing pharmaceutical for fatigue.
Mar.1979 Launches New Hepalyse, a remedy for physical fatigue and exhaustion.
Oct.1983 Establishes Central Research Laboratory in Saitama.
Mar.1986 Develops and launches Avitene, an absorbable topical hemostat in-licensed from U.S.-based Alcon Laboratories, Inc.

Feb.2004 Concludes a licensing agreement with Tillotts Pharma AG in Switzerland for the development, manufacturing and marketing rights to Asacol for IBD in Japan.
Jun.2005 Launches Acinon Z, a remedy for gastrointestinal diseases (Rx-to-OTC switched drug).
